What is a Stalker Portal and how does MAC address activation work?

A Stalker Portal is a specialized middleware system used by Infomir MAG boxes, Formuler (MyTVOnline), BuzzTV, TVIP, and Android boxes. Rather than typing long usernames and passwords, your device is authenticated directly by its unique hardware MAC address (typically starting with 00:1A:79). You simply provide your MAC address, enter our Portal URL into your box settings, and your entire channel guide loads automatically.

Why did my preloaded grocery store IPTV box stop working after 1 or 2 years?
